With ‘To A Nation of Animals’, Conflict cemented \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003etheir standing at the forefront of the animal rights movement in the early eighties. It’s a legendary, \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ebrutal anarcho-punk record, targeting animal abuse using intense punk and fierce lyrics to demand an \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eend to animal testing and cruelty.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA few years ago following the passing of John Loder, the original multi track tapes were returned to \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ethe band. Colin and Gav King (Conflict guitarist of the past 18 years) sent the tapes off to be ‘baked’ \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eand digitised with the intent of remixing them once their new album was complete and released.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUnfortunately Colin passed away before that could happen but Gav King continued with the task of \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eremixing the tracks that were recorded 43 years earlier. Included in the box were the original mixes on \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e¼ inch tape so Colin’s lifelong close mate, Sid Truelove of Rubella Ballet agreed to remaster them. A \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003etape of alternative mixdowns, previously unheard, was also discovered and are now available on here \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003etoo.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOriginally released as a 7” single. It’s the first time these recordings have been made available as a \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e12” vinyl. Limited to 500 copies worldwide it includes an A2 poster of the original hard hitting artwork.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSide A has the original 3 tracks fully remixed and mastered by Gav King as well as an alternative \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e‘Decomposing Dub’ mix of ‘Meat Still Means Murder!’.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSide B has the 3 original tracks remastered by Sid Truelove as well as 3 previously unheard early \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003emixes\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSide A (Remixed By Gav King) 1.
