GERANIÜM from Strasbourg / Besancon (France) celebrate their ten-year band existence this year and after numerous splits they finally delight us with their second album. There have been some line-up changes recently, but they have remained true to their unmistakable style on “Fear is the enemy”: The new record also features a merciless blend of dark crust, 90s screamo and black metal. Instead of dulling away, a passionate wall of sound is slowly unfolded here, the unbridled vehemence of which leaves you breathless. If you are looking for musical influences, you would certainly have to mention ALPINIST, FINGERPRINT or MADAME GERMEN. But what for? GERANIÜM are a guarantee in themselves. Anyone who has moved around in this context in the last few years will be familiar with the band from France for a long time.
