New arrivals this week come as part of a trade with Polish label Up The Punx Records with releases from Barrenfields, Moribund Scum, Gränslandet and Drip Of Lies.
Drip Of Lies are back after 5 years since their last split release and 7 long years since their acclaimed debut “Failure”, one of the bleakest Polish metallic / dark hardcore exports return with their new 12" 'Hell'. BARRENFIELDS from Madrid, Spain play full throttle tuneful punk rock with a lot of MISFITS/DANZIG worship going on in the vocal style and it's adding alot to the greatness of this album. Moribund Scum don’t mess around here and you get a package of seven sonic uncut crust-punk gems. There is a lot of retro-crust with thrashmetal going on here. HELLSHOCK, GUIDED CRADLE comes to mind more than once and there’s your dose of crust’n’roll and double-bass mayhem. Gränslandet: This is music that weights a ton and is a sheer massive wall of sound. - "Denationalization" is the second album of this sludge/doom/crust institution from Kristinehamn in Sweden.
