Shipments and returns

Postage rates continue to increase and increase, in a seemingly endless upwards spiral, which is bad for you and bad for us. As we're generally based in Ireland, the main carrier service is An Post, and as you can see in the graph below (taken from the An Post site!) they are pretty expensive in comparison to most of Europe.

Due to the ever increasing price of postage and shipping, we try to be as flexible as possible in the postage services we offer to bring you the cheapest price possible. Some of us occassionally travel north to Northern Ireland, which is technically part of the U.K... but it means we can avail of Royal Mail which is generally cheaper!! However, we may not always be able to get back so frequently, so please be patient when using this shipping option :) For Northern Ireland customers, please enter this as your country to allow for a wider selection of couriers for pick from.

Packages are generally dispatched within 2-4 days after receipt of payment, depending on the choice of courier, and are shipped by your choice of postal or courier service. Each service will be displayed at your check out of the shop. However, we are a D.I.Y. label and not an efficient well-oiled machine, so there can be some delays but these are rare!

Shipping fees include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs. Handling fees are fixed, whereas transport fees vary according to total weight of the shipment. We advise you to group your items in one order. We cannot group two distinct orders placed separately, and shipping fees will apply to each of them. Your package will be dispatched at your own risk, but special care is taken to protect fragile objects.

Boxes are amply sized and your items are well-protected.For insurance on your deliveries please use either An Post Registered which gives the following benefits;

1. Proof of posting
2. Signature on delivery
3. Online confirmation of delivery
4. Better compensation.

If your order goes missing in the post we will replace it, only if you pay for this service! In saying this we have only ever experienced a very small number of incidences of package going missing and we have found out reasons for this and have taken preventive ways to deal with this so you can be assured of 99.99% of successful delivery.

We also try to offer punk-post, only if you contact us beforehand to arrange the order via email as it is not always possible. If you don't contact us beforehand, the order won't be accepted!
